The square contains Florence Cathedral, the Florence Baptistery and the Opera del Duomo Museum. The west zone of this square is called Piazza San Giovanni.

Take a stroll along the Piazza della Cisterna where you may enjoy pottery shops, small museums and one of the best Italian gelatos in all of Italy.

Visit Castle Verrazzano, a 230-hectare estate, which has remained unchanged within its boundaries for over 1000 years, has 52 hectares of vineyards at an altitude between 260 and 420 meters above sea level, in a stony soil rich in limestone. The vineyards are periodically renewed according to a program that allows the average age of the vines to be kept at around 12 years.

Enjoy lunch with a tasting of Tuscany wines and traditional Tuscan food that may include ham, wild boar salami with lemon zest, crostini with lard from the Val de Greve, Tuscan crostini, goat chees with farm jellies and Balsamic Verrazzano on pecorino with olive oil.

Visit Montepulciano, a medieval hilltop town in Tuscany, Italy. Surrounded by vineyards, it’s known for its vino nobile red wine. The Torre di Pulcinella is a clock tower topped by a figure of the Pulcinella, a commedia dell’arte character. On the Piazza Grande is the 14th-century Palazzo Comunale, with a tower offering views of the surrounding countryside. Visit the city center and enjoy a wine tasting session of Nobile di Montepulciano wine.
