Get immersed into the world of Glass Igloos, Northern Lights, Midnight Sun, and other miracles of the world-renowned Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, which provides a unique experience in the Saariselka Fell area of Finnish Lapland. Located on the edge of the wilderness, along the road to the Arctic Sea. A mere stone's throw to the Urho Kekkonen National Park, the largest of Finland's national parks. It is simply one of the best places to watch the Northern Lights and immerse yourself in the abundant arctic nature.
The accommodations are as unique and special as the area wilderness. Choose from fabulous Log Chalets designed from large dried-out pines, and designed in a rugged style that perfectly complements your surroundings. Take in the beauty of the Northern Lights and the Lappish wilderness from the comfort of your own private Glass Igloo hideaway.
The resort's two restaurants offer a la carte menus packed with delicious local Lappish cuisine. Depending upon the location of their accommodation, guests can enjoy meals at either the traditional Kelo restaurant or the West Village Aurora Restaurant with its famous glass igloo bar.
The surrounding environment is one of the cleanest in the the world. Although far from it all, it is an easy place to reach: the nearest international airport is in Ivalo, just a 30-minute drive away.
